Use Gety with Claude

When Claude can’t fully answer your question, Gety steps in by searching your local files and sharing only the relevant parts – no need to upload anything, keeping your data private. This not only protects your privacy but also reduces AI errors, giving you more accurate and reliable answers every time.

Step 1:Install Claude Desktop and Log in​

  • Download and install Claude.
  • Log in to your Claude account.

Step 2: Enable Claude Integration in Gety.ai​

  • Open Gety.ai and go to Settings. gety-settings
  • In Integration, enable Claude Integration. (Installation may take a few seconds to minutes.) gety-enable-claude gety-enabled

Step 3: Restart Claude​

  • Restart Claude after integration.
  • MCP will activate automatically. (Gety will provide three MCP tools to access local files.) claude

Step 4. Start Chatting with Local Files​

  • Now you can search and interact with local files directly through Claude. chat-with-gety
  • Allow Claude to use Gety.ai (Gety.ai only shares relevant file portions with Claude.) allow tool

Tips:​

  • If Claude doesn’t automatically use Gety.ai, prompt it directly by asking to use Gety.ai.
